As an Ad Operations Analyst II, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our digital advertising campaigns. This position blends ad trafficking, online campaign management, tracking tag implementation, and customer support. You’ll work closely with internal teams—including Sales, Technology, and Product—as well as third-party service providers to launch and optimize online ad campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign & Ad Trafficking
  • Schedule, launch, and monitor interactive ad campaigns using Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager 360, and other platforms, based on insertion orders, ensuring adherence to technical specifications.

  • Modify HTML and third-party ad tags to ensure compatibility with ad servers; test, verify, and troubleshoot tag-related issues.

  • Request and validate dynamic creative ad tags from our dynamic creative partner for use in onsite and offsite programmatic ad placements.

  • Send campaign launch confirmations and provide screenshots upon request.

  • Diagnose and resolve delivery discrepancies, billing disputes, and other campaign-related technical issues.

  • Work with third-party vendors to ensure proper ad delivery and tracking functionality.

  • Run and maintain campaign performance reports, providing insights for optimization.

  • Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert on ad trafficking and ad operations, providing recommendations and training to other team members.

  • Serve as a go-to resource for Sales, Account Management, and Product teams, addressing ad operations questions and campaign adjustments.

  • Lead and contribute to special projects aimed at improving operational efficiency in the evolving digital advertising landscape.

Tag Management

  • Generate tracking tags in The Trade Desk, Meta, and other ad platforms to monitor and measure campaign KPI performance.

  • Implement and manage tracking tags using Google Tag Manager to support advertising and analytics.

  • Collaborate with the Campaign Management and Media Teams to define tracking strategy requirements, guide clients on implementation, and ensure proper validation of tracking functionality.

  • Validate and troubleshoot tracking tag issues, implementing fixes and updates in Google Tag Manager as needed.

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2-5 years of experience in Ad Operations (AdOps), including ad trafficking, campaign management, and tag management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment and discretion as needed.

  • Hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager (GAM), Campaign Manager 360 (DCM), and Google Tag Manager (GTM).

  • Strong knowledge of rich media, mobile placements, standard display ads, pixel tracking, and redirects.

  • Familiarity with CPM, CPC, CPA campaign metrics and optimization strategies.

  • Basic proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and various rich media ad technologies.

  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems (preferred).

  • Understanding of IVT/viewability technologies (e.g., IAS, DV).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range

$56,700.00-68,050.00
