We’re looking for a Manager of Compliance to join our growing Compliance organization.
In this position you will be responsible for ensuring our organization’s commitment to regulatory compliance, integrity and innovation through our compliance management framework. As the Compliance Manager, you will lead the vision and strategy to build foundational and critical assessment, analysis, and second-line independent oversight and guidance regarding customer complaints related to our product suite, services, and processes. In partnership with Operations, Chargeback Team, and FinCrime, the Compliance Manager will be tasked with managing all Reg E, UDAAP/UDAP/Marketing, and customer complaints and continuously providing insight into the overall risk profile of the business, independent challenge and suggestions for improvements.
This role requires a problem solver to work cross functionally across the organization to solve complex challenges based on data analysis and monitoring.

ResponsibilitiesApplying key regulatory requirements applicable to deposit products (e.g. Reg E, UDAAP/UDAP/Marketing, and Privacy) to analyze, review and respond to consumer complaints timely and within formalized complaints management framework Proactively identify potential trends and patterns through complaint monitoring and work with business partners on resolutions and improved member experiencesIdentify opportunities for enhancing policies, procedures, terms and conditions, agreements and other member-facing collateral and work with stakeholders to implement improvementsCollaborate with the Chargeback Team and Operations Team to open, document, resolve and validate formal issues using the issues management framework and standards Coordinate with subject matter experts to draft and update risks and controls across the product suiteAssist the Compliance team with annual risk assessments and regular reportingAssist all team members by independently taking on special projects and completing and meeting the teams' goalsCoordinate with various business teams for regulatory exams, due diligence, internal audits, and independent test reviewsRequirements5+ years of experience with working in consumer compliance, audit or other governance functions with a deep knowledge of risk and controls and banking regulations, specifically Regulation E, UDAAP/UDAP/Marketing, and Privacy In-depth knowledge of regulatory, risk, governance and infrastructure challenges with regards to potential trends and patterns through complaint monitoring and work with business partners on resolutions and improved member experiencesStrong communicator and internal relationship builder, collaborating cross functionallyAble to challenge and influence stakeholders to ensure decisions are well thought out and can be executed from an operations perspectiveComfortable with change, ambiguity, conflict, and dealing with multiple senior stakeholdersExperience with multiple consumer compliance tools and vendorsDrive results through leadership, people, communication and influenceExperience having worked with product and tech teams on tool implementations in the fintech industry and as a manager is advantageousHighly organized, and process / people orientatedThe ability to travel up to 10%Life @ Crypto.com
