The National Key Accounts Manager will strategically drive vaccine initiatives across national and regional pharmacy banners, travel clinics, and wholesale retail accounts to maximize opportunities, enhance vaccine uptake, support private market launches, and deliver strategic vaccine initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management
Develop and execute strategies to maximize vaccine uptake through retail/travel and wholesale channels
Build and maintain strong relationships with provincial and national vaccine distribution centers
Lead complex contract negotiations with national accounts
Develop and manage annual sales forecasts, budgets, and strategic business plans
Program Development & Implementation
Collaborate with pharmacy banners to implement innovative retail programs
Support private market vaccine launches through targeted retail initiatives
Implement digital strategies to enhance vaccine awareness and accessibility
Establish KPIs and tracking mechanisms to measure program effectiveness
Cross-Functional Leadership
Work collaboratively across teams to align and implement strategic objectives
Conduct market analyses to identify trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities
Identify strategic opportunities to enhance business growth
About You
Qualifications:
Required Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related discipline
Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical sales or key account management experience, preferably in vaccines
Proven success in developing innovative retail programs and strategic initiatives
Knowledge & Skills
Strong understanding of Canada's retail pharmacy and vaccine distribution landscape
Demonstrated understanding of healthcare economics and pharmaceutical distribution systems
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with measurable outcomes
Understanding of Canadian vaccine regulations and compliance standards
Personal Attributes
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Ability and willingness to travel nationally
Proven ability to lead change initiatives within complex healthcare environments
Additional Assets
Bilingualism (English/French)
MBA or advanced degree in healthcare management
Proficiency with CRM systems and data analytics tools

The salary range for this position is:
$83,800.00 - $121,000.00All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
