In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the planning, development, and execution of resources and strategies that support and drive the customer’s Commercial business. As Commercial Lead, you will serve as the liaision between the Syneos Health functional teams that they oversee, and the customer’s senior commercial or brand leader. You will:

  • Serve as the customer’s primary point of contact for all aspects of the commercial program work between related Syneos Health internal business units and the customer
  • Collaborate with senior customer management and recommend strategies that are aligned with the best interest of the customer
  • Monitor and report on performance and progress across all functions (internal and customer-based) that are aligned to the brand
  • Lead commercial execution and ensure activities, deliverables, timelines, and budget are completed on time and on budget
  • Hold weekly cross-functional core team meetings to discuss project status, major milestones, and key deliverables
  • Work with the Program Management and Operations (PMO) function to ensure proper reporting and real-time tracking of all commercial activities and deliverables
  • Develop senior leadership and ad-hoc presentations and training as needed

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years’ exerience in senior commercial roles that spanned across multiple functional areas (e.g., General Management, Marketing, Access, Sales, Commercial Operations)
  • Launch experience across multiple pharmaceutical and therapuetic areas
  • Financial acumen and the ability to understand program financials and manage program P&L
  • Demonstrated record of success in driving new product sales
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare system trends, financial data, customer insights and needs
  • Ability to work in a comparable time zone to the customer
  • Ability to travel as needed

Desired Requirements:

  • Master’s degree with 15+ years’ related work experience
  • Experience with oversight and management of all facets of commercial, including P&L ownership within the past 3-5 years
  • Customer-specific therapeutic area experience
  • Global launch experience

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $X to $Y. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
