Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Telemarketer to promote affordable energy solutions to Australian customers. In this role, you will be responsible for making outbound calls using a structured sales script, engaging with potential customers, and educating them on how Beat Energy can help them save money on their energy plans. The successful candidate will be confident in their communication, skilled at building rapport quickly, and capable of qualifying leads effectively. You’ll play an important role in driving lead generation and helping Beat Energy expand its customer base while maintaining accurate records of your interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to promote cheaper energy using a structured Australian-based sales script.
• Engage customers confidently, ensuring they feel they are speaking with a representative from an Australian company.
• Effectively communicate how Beat Energy has saved other customers money on their energy plans to build trust and credibility.
• Qualify leads and capture key information for the Australian-based customer service team to follow up.
• Adapt conversation styles to maintain engagement and reduce the likelihood of call hang-ups.
• Maintain accurate call records and track lead conversions - (agreed CRM process)
• Continuously refine the approach based on call performance and feedback.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must have prior telemarketing experience with Australian customers.
• Strong verbal communication skills with a charismatic and engaging persona.
• Ability to hold a conversation and quickly establish rapport within the first 30 seconds.
• Confidence in handling objections and keeping prospects engaged.
• Proven success in high-penetration outbound calling, generating quality leads.
• Experience working with scripts while adapting dynamically to the conversation.
• Basic understanding of Australian energy retailers market (would greatly help)
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while hitting performance targets.
