Job description

Westcon-Comstor is seeking a Partner Success Manager (PSM) / Business Development Manager (BDM) / External Sales to drive business growth and foster exceptional partnerships with Cisco partners. You'll spearhead strategic initiatives to grow revenue, enhance lifecycle adoption, and deliver outstanding customer experiences.


This field-based role is ideal for candidates located in the North of England. Our nearest office is in Cirencester, so we're looking for a self-starter who thrives in remote work and embraces travel to meet our partners / resellers.


Your Role:

  • Partner Enablement: Identify, onboard, and develop strategic Cisco partners while promoting lifecycle selling (Land, Adopt, Expand, Renew).
  • Strategic Planning: Create and execute 12-36 month Partner Success Plans with measurable growth targets, investment areas, and execution strategies.
  • Customer Success: Collaborate with partners to develop customer plans, enhance CX initiatives, and measure success via Net Promoter Scores.
  • Tool Activation: Maximize partners' use of Comstor and Cisco tools, including PXP, PartnerCentral, and lifecycle services for recurring revenue growth.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage analytics tools like Power BI and Tableau to track performance and optimize strategies.



What You Bring:

  • Expertise in channel sales, partner enablement, or business development in IT distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco partner programs, lifecycle selling, and recurring revenue models.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using Cisco tools and data platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A strategic, proactive approach with a willingness to travel up to 4 days a week.
