We are looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join the BESTSECRET team, ensuring that we always offer our customers attractive prices while realizing healthy margins. This is a permanent role on a full-time basis with remote working as an option.
As a Senior Pricing Analyst for BESTSECRET, you will develop the pricing strategy to meet future challenges, while continuously monitoring and adjusting our prices for over 300,000 products with your team. As an off-price retailer, our customers expect exceptional bargains while we maximize the profitability of the business. Flexibility, adaptability, collaboration, critical-thinking and a commercial mindset will be key to being successful in this role.
Your Responsibilities
Improve the price-value perception for our customers
Analyse the pricing strategies of our main competitors and define our pricing strategy how to balance competitiveness and profitability
Weekly coordination of short and medium-term pricing activities depending on the current market situation with the senior management
Differentiation of the price strategy per category and country based on individual challenges
Ensure an efficient and secure operational process to change 10.000s of prices every week
Analyse and understand price elasticity levers to proactively use the insights in price control
Create synergies between pricing and campaign management through close cooperation with the marketing team
Coach and empower your team members to enable them to grow. Cultivate a team culture that promotes best practise sharing and learning from each other
Your Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a comparable role in B2C fashion pricing, ideally in an e-commerce environment
Professional experience in leading and managing strategy
Excellent analytical skills (general maths, forecasting, simulation, optimization) combined with business understanding
In-depth knowledge to analyse big datasets (e.g. with Looker, PowerBI, SQL)
Ability to work effectively with different stakeholders across the company
High proactivity, independence, and ability to get things done in a large organization
Effective communicator - able to communicate messages clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences including senior management
Fluent written and spoken business English
