Your Responsibilities

  • You have end-to-end commercial ownership of your division. You ensure that financial targets are set and executed.
  • You strategically plan, buy, and develop the assortment across the full division to ensure we offer the customer the most desired off-price assortment.
  • You guide your team to implement strategies that will deliver the financial plan in correspondence with the division, category, and company.
  • You support the VP in setting the business strategy from a commercial and creative direction of the division, supporting the overall business strategy.
  • You lead strategic relationships with key brand partners and use your negotiation skills to deliver success for the company and ensure the long-term partnerships.
  • With your significant experience across a wide range of different businesses, you are able to identify business opportunities, apply solutions to current challenges, improve ways of working, or foresee and resolve problems before they impact the business.
  • You conduct continuous analysis and management of all relevant operational and financial KPIs.
  • You ensure that relevant business information gets shared efficiently across the team (buying and planning).
  • You are able to extract the best of each team member and function as an inspiring leader that convinces the team with engaging strategy and vision while giving clear direction.
  • You collaborate with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, both internally and externally, to enable decision-making.

Your Qualifications

  • You have a bachelor's or master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Fashion Management or extensive work experience in a similar area with a focus on Fashion Buying.
  • 5+ years of experience in leading a team.
  • You have a strong sense of commercial acumen and understanding of the off-price market with all its mechanisms and effects which enables you to come up with strategies for your area.
  • You are proactive and able to work autonomously, be results-oriented and be able to think "out of the box”.
  • You are able to think and act like an entrepreneur, analytically and strategically.
  • You have an exceptionally high willingness to travel.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken business English.
