The Opportunity
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will proactively engage prospects through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach. Equipped with well-researched information about target prospects and Sciforma, you will have to build a solid understanding of the industry and qualification process to spark meaningful conversations.
Your primary goal will be to identify and qualify leads, set appointments for our sales team, and contribute to our overall SDR strategy.
What You'll Do
Identify and address prospect’s needs by understanding their business challenges and engaging with key decision-makers
Qualifying all the outbound and inbound contacts for the assigned territory with a focus on velocity and setting up sales qualified appointments through Salesforce
Prospecting assigned ICP accounts, especially through ABM campaigns using cold calls, emails and social selling
Reporting to SDR Manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
Promoting and marketing Sciforma business through extensive and persistent calling, emails and communication(s) to prospective clients
Scheduling discovery meetings for the Sales Team
Providing in-depth information to the Sales team to enable the most qualified and productive demos
Meet or exceed monthly quotas for outbound activities, sales qualified leads
Researching and evaluating additional prospects through web research
Maintaining all contacts/opportunities and recording all progress in Salesforce
Attending physical marketing events
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and product knowledge.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field.
2+ years of progressively responsible marketing, inside sales or business development related sales experience
Proven experience in outbound sales or lead generation, preferably in a SaaS environment.
Competencies:
Ability to demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and the ability to independently manage outreach efforts to achieve goals.
Maintains a strong ability to persevere through rejection and sustain persistence in cold outreach scenarios
Proficient in initiating cold introductions and sparking interest through proactive outbound efforts
Strong oral and written communication skills along with excellent listening skills
Ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintain strong working relationships
Strong ability to assess prospect needs, readiness to buy, and qualification metrics
Skilled at uncovering a prospect’s pain points and aligning solutions accordingly.
Preferred Skills:
Successful completion of coursework in sales techniques, marketing, and communication may be advantageous.
Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Linkedin, Sales Navigator
