Overview

Gallagher Member Services (GMS) creates, markets, and manages member benefit programs (insurance and non-insurance) for sponsoring organizations such as trade and professional associations, as well as other membership organizations across the U.S. and Canada. As a national leader in association member benefit program management, GMS is dedicated to enhancing the member/client experience and fostering commerce by delivering high-quality services and everyday value to eligible member consumers and small businesses.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Marketing/Business focused degree; 2-4 years marketing and communication experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional written communication skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent time management
  • Strong personal initiative and works well with a team, creative, personable and can multi-task simultaneous project and adjust to frequently changing priorities in a fast paced working environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, creative nature and proven project management skills
  • Strong understanding of outreach through new and social media platforms.
  • Strong familiarity with Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook. Knowledge of digital imaging software.

About You

Required: Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience, OR High School degree with 8 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience. License required. Able and willing to travel approximately 25% of the time.

  • Strong ability to build and nurture professional relationships with contacts within a "book of business” (organization contacts).
  • Proven skills in creating innovative and effective marketing strategies — both traditional and out-of-the-box — with the ability to secure collaboration and buy-in from association partners.
  • Collaborative approach to growing and upselling insurance and non-insurance endorsed member programs with association contacts.
  • Expertise in creating, managing, tracking, analyzing, and enhancing marketing campaigns while effectively communicating success metrics.
  • Ability to develop purpose-driven presentations that communicate program outcomes, advocate for additional programs or marketing channels, and highlight the value to association partners.
  • Professionalism in managing challenging conversations when program participation and engagement aren’t meeting business needs.
