Bookkeeper

MedVA is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to oversee corporate financial operations. The role involves managing tax filings, invoicing, and insurance billing, while supporting financial audits to ensure accurate revenue reporting, account management, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file corporate tax documents in compliance with local and national regulations
• Generate, process, and track invoices for clients, vendors, and internal departments
• Conduct financial audits related to revenue, accounts, and tax returns to ensure accuracy and transparency
• Manage insurance billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions and follow-ups
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit readiness
• Coordinate with external auditors, accountants, and tax consultants as needed
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and legal standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Experience with managing tax filings, invoicing, and insurance billing (US)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across departments.
