Job description

Rain is the fastest-growing earned wage access (EWA) fintech in the U.S., serving 2.5 million employees and backed by top investors like QED and Prosus. We’ve raised nearly $400M in funding—including the largest Series A in fintech history—and just closed our Series B to fuel our next stage of hypergrowth.

We’re looking for a high-impact Senior Product Manager to lead our Nexis Squad—the team responsible for the data infrastructure that powers Rain’s core EWA experience. Nexis ensures our users always have access to accurate, real-time earnings data by building integrations with payroll and timekeeping systems and managing the flow of data. The team is also foundational to giving our employer clients industry-leading service by supporting implementations.  This is a critical, highly cross-functional role with direct impact on our users, clients, and overall product performance.

If you thrive on solving complex data challenges, love collaborating across Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Product, and want to help shape the future of financial wellness, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the product roadmap, vision, and strategy for the Nexis Squad, balancing short-term delivery with long-term strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional execution in partnership with Engineering, Implementation, Sales, and Operations.
  • Drive continuous improvements to our data ingestion pipelines and partner integrations.
  • Develop tools and workflows to streamline implementation and improve data accuracy.
  • Work closely with timekeeping and payroll vendors to maintain and expand partner API integrations.
  • Prioritize ruthlessly and communicate clearly—keeping stakeholders aligned and focused.
  • Contribute to the growth of our product organization by improving our processes, practices, and team culture.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex technical products.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams on data pipelines, APIs, or platform services.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strategic thinker with a bias for action—able to prioritize, make tradeoffs, and execute at speed.
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment at a fast-moving, high-growth company.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the HR tech, payroll, fintech, or Earned Wage Access space.
  • Background in systems involving employee data, timekeeping, or financial transactions.
  • Familiarity with client implementation workflows and enterprise integrations.
