The Partner Relations & Brand Coordinator supports marketing and referral development efforts to increase awareness of Kind Behavioral Health’s services. Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, this role helps maintain referral partnerships, assists with marketing outreach, and provides administrative and operational support to the business development team. Given KBH’s size and growth, this role offers significant exposure to high-level strategy and hands-on experience beyond a typical entry-level position. The incumbent will be expected to take initiative, manage referral networks, and contribute directly to business development initiatives.
Our ideal candidate is based near our corporate office location in Raleigh-Durham, NC, but we have flexibility for remote or hybrid work for the right person!
Marketing & Outreach Strategy
Develop and contribute to marketing efforts that strengthen brand awareness and increase referrals.
Coordinate and execute events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Research and analyze industry trends and local market opportunities to inform outreach strategies.
Monitor, track, and report on marketing campaign performance, summarizing key insights for leadership.
Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to execute outreach materials and activities.
Referral & Business Development
Build, maintain, and expand a database of referral sources, such as pediatricians, schools, and therapists.
Schedule, prepare, and participate in meetings, calls, and events with referral partners.
Communicate effectively with referral sources regarding service availability and intake processes.
Organize and manage partner contact lists and outreach records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate Lunch & Learn events and educational sessions for referral partners.
Coordinate and schedule diagnostic evaluations with external vendor partners, including planning onsite events at our office and managing referrals to their clinics for both in-person and virtual appointments.
Content & Branding
Create, develop, and distribute marketing materials for outreach campaigns.
Refine and enhance promotional presentations and branding initiatives to ensure consistency and impact.
Curate and organize social media content and clinic success stories to support digital engagement.
Database & Compliance Management
Update, maintain, and optimize CRM and referral tracking systems.
Analyze and compile referral trends and data for business development reporting and decision-making.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical marketing practices.
Administrative & Internal Support
Prepare, summarize, and present reports for leadership on outreach efforts and performance metrics.
Track, document, and communicate referral progress with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination.
Work closely with the Chief Business Development Officer to support business initiatives and strategic planning.
Required Experience:
Bachelors degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field required.
1 year experience in marketing, business development, referral outreach, or a related role (internship, part-time, or project-based experience acceptable) required. 2 years preferred.
Basic proficiency or willingness to learn CRM software, email marketing platforms, and data tracking tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with partners and internal teams.
Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in tracking outreach efforts.
Experience using CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, CentralReach), social media management tools, or graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) preferred.
Familiarity with healthcare, behavioral health, or referral-based marketing environments preferred.
Exposure to planning and coordinating educational events, networking engagements, or marketing campaigns preferred.
