Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to support a project focused on improving healthcare delivery through the use of information and communication technology. This role will work remotely within Canada to enhance healthcare delivery and enable efficient, effective information management and communication processes across the healthcare sector.

Requirements

Mandatory Req:

1.Valid PRINCE2 Foundation or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification. Proof of the certification shall be provided with the response.

2.Degree, diploma, or certificate in Nursing. Proof of the Degree, Diploma or Certification shall be provided with the response.

10 years’ experience working with stakeholders in a healthcare environment to implement changes to clinical workflow. Examples should include implementation and training of business process changes. The response should include at least 3 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 10 years. The response should include specific details of work performed.
5 years’ experience working with stakeholders to elicit and document requirements and develop them into specifications or business process solutions. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 5 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed.
5 years’ experience providing direct patient care. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 5 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed.
5 years’ experience implementing Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) in an acute care setting. Experience should include analyzing and developing clinical workflows. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 5 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed.
3 years’ experience implementing the Allscripts or Altera suite of products in an acute care setting. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 3 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed.
5 years’ experience leading healthcare staff in redesigning clinical processes to improve efficiency and patient care in conjunction with the implementation of a clinical information system.
