Work Set-up: Work From Home
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 03:00 PM PHT (AU-VIC Holidays)
Salary: Php 50,000.00 – Php 55,000.00

You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with the preparation of financial reports. You will play a key role in supporting the firm’s accounting operations, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with Xero, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A BOOKKEEPER
Your Responsibilities as a Bookkeeper would be:
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and general ledger entries.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist in the preparation of BAS, GST, and payroll-related lodgement.
• Collaborate with accountants to support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting.
• Maintain and organize digital financial records.
• Generate basic financial reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and relevant regulations.
• Support payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed.
Qualifications as a Bookkeeper:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant bookkeeping experience in an Australian accounting firm.
• Experience with accounting software, specifically Xero and BGL Super 360.
• Familiarity with other accounting tools is highly regarded.
• Must have experience in the preparation of BAS/GST and Payroll Tax (State payroll Tax Lodgments).
• Familiarity with Australian tax regulations and accounting practices.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise multiple demands.
• High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Experience handling confidential information with discretion
• Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables).
• Comfortable working with remote teams and clients across time
