Job Description

Neptune Retail Solutions is seeking a Retail Sales Analyst to support our expanding omnichannel retail partnerships. This role is responsible for managing and analyzing sales and performance reports for key retail partners and delivering actionable information with insights that support strategic decision making and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and a solid understanding of sales practices to evaluate performance and identify incremental opportunities. They should also be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize reporting processes, uncover business growth opportunities, and enhance retailer relationships.

 

What you will do:

·       Manage recurring financial revenue reporting and forecasting for key retailer partners, ensuring alignment with their                objectives and delivering valuable core insights.

·       Track and analyze performance metrics against retailer-established KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for                     growth.

·       Monitor and analyze retailer financial and performance reports to uncover trends, opportunities, and challenges,                      translating data into clear, actionable insights for sales teams.

·       Work closely with finance, operations, consumer insights, and sales to generate key reports and best practices.

·       Develop and refine reporting processes to improve efficiency, streamline data analysis, and enhance clear, actionable            insights to drive revenue generating opportunities.   

·       Participate in weekly meetings with sales to share project updates, discuss insights, and align on priorities.

 

 

What you will bring


·       Experience in customer relationship management or sales enablement.

·       Understanding of sales trends, performance measurement, and campaign effectiveness in a CPG or retail environment.

·       Foundational analytical skills, with experience in performance tracking, interpreting large datasets, and translating core          findings into actionable business insights.

·       Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

·       Ability to effectively multitask, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·       Self-starter with a proactive approach to optimizing reporting processes and seeking new ways to leverage data for                revenue growth.

·       Strong business acumen, problem-solving capabilities, and time management skills.

·       Ability to work cross functionally with finance, sales, operations, and insights teams, as well as retailer clients.

·       Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

·       Advanced proficiency in Excel, including macros, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (PPT/Word). Experience              with tools such as Salesforce, JIRA, Tableau, or other analytics platforms is a plus.
