What You’ll Do

  • Execute local sales plans and strategy in line with SBU strategy to maintain and develop existing customers and acquire new customers.
  • Develop and execute action plans for each customer based on their customer roadmap.
  • Deliver sales and distribution targets (KP OSG, PC %, GP %) in assigned territory or defined accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors (A, B).
  • Communicate with KAM/Sales team on customer-specific tasks and priorities (A, some SBU, L).
  • Coordinate with Technical Customer Service to conduct line trials, resolve customer requests and complaints (A).
  • Execute pricing and promotional actions (A).
  • Implement KAM strategy including listings and promotions (A, some SBU, B).
  • Manage and/or steer distributor salesforce / 3rd Party Representation (A).
  • Ensure execution excellence at point of sale (L) and maintain merchandising and brand representation in stores/salons (A, some SBU, B).
  • Conduct field, market, jobsite, or store visits; follow up on promotion implementation, in-store stock levels, and identify gaps (A).
  • Coordinate education implementation and measure sales impact with Technical Advisors (A, B).
  • Take and process customer orders, negotiate customer agreements, and complete administrative tasks related to reporting and contract management (A, B).
  • Steer overdue payments and block orders if necessary.

  • Proven experience and relationships with these key accounts: Orgill, TV Distribution, Do it Best, White Cap, USLBM, Builders First Source, 84 Lumber, Prime Source, Ferguson, Grainger, and Sherwin Williams.
  • Strong ability to identify meaningful sales targets and close sales.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, Power BI reports, SAP, and Sparc.

The salary for this role is $106600.00 - $148000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
