- JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
- Monitors, analyzes, investigates, and reports on information privacy compliance. Directly manages and leads Privacy Analyst(s) in supporting the needs of the department. Helps develop strategies to evaluate and enhance compliance and privacy performance through investigation, risk of harm assessment, and auditing and monitoring activities. Assists in problem identification and resolution that support SHS Compliance Program efforts. Maintains current knowledge of relevant state and federal laws and regulations. Works closely with Human Resources and the Information Security Team.

- EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field or equivalent experience required.
- Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CPHC) or Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) required within three (3) years of hire.
- Three (3) years experience in healthcare audit, compliance and/or operations required.
- Two (2) years leadership experience in a healthcare setting required.
- Experience in health information management preferred.
- Experience and/or training in the following preferred:
- Data warehouse technology.
- MS Office, SharePoint and active directory.
- Hospital compliance and privacy programs, systems and processes.
- Data analysis and/or auditing tools and techniques.
