Role: The DevOps Specialist (Cloud Azure) reports to the Manager, Product Development and works closely with other DevOps Specialists. The candidate helps design quality infrastructure in Azure, facilitates the development and deployment process, implements the right technologies for our products, and improves the lives of fellow developers.
Below is a brief description of all the expected products the candidate will be working on:
Equisoft/Centralize is a powerful back-office insurance agency management system that offers our clients a way to connect carriers' feeds, paramedical data, clients, policies, and more to a single platform. Our workbench solution helps our customers work smarter, provides unique insights, and makes it possible to automate their business processes.
Your Day With Equisoft
- Collaborate with the development team to facilitate the development process
- Automate and align the process of building (CI), deploying (CD), maintaining and upgrading the technologies supporting the application
- Diagnose production problems and coordinate with the development team to align code deployment
- Manage access and environment controls
- Administer the development environment and support the development team
- Write relevant documentation on new technologies and processes that are implemented
- Evaluate the performance, availability and security of our systems and recommend the restructuring of existing configurations
- Respond to requests and investigate problems to apply corrective measures to the systems under their responsibility
- Optimize the use of the cloud to reduce operational costs
Requirements:
Technical
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or College Diploma
- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience in cloud-native environments
- 5+ years of experience as a software developer with strong coding skills
- Strong experience with Kubernetes cluster management and operations
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm charts
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (Azure DevOps, Argo CD)
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture
- Excellent knowledge of Linux, Git, Docker, Bash
- Experience with secret management solutions (Azure KeyVault)
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools in Kubernetes environments
- Knowledge of programming languages relevant to automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Good knowledge in SaaS technology integration and implementation
- Knowledge of web application development
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex distributed systems
- Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written)
