Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and administer complex and significant operational investment and accounting activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the processes surrounding the tracking, monitoring, recording, reconciling of investments and all related activities.
  • Work with external third-party service providers and internal systems to improve automation for document retrieval and organization. Build tools and templates to improve data processing for existing and prospective investment managers.
  • Maintain external alternative investment database and related private reporting. Improve market insight capabilities by retrieving and analyzing information from the external investment database.
  • Review and monitor client related balances and initiate the distribution of capital to/from clients as needed.
  • Facilitate the addition and removal of accounts. Support monthly accounting close procedures.
  • Support risk management and compliance in reporting of liquidity metrics, rating agency reporting, and compliance reporting. Assist in re-balancing across all participants and portfolios.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

  • Interest and/or experience in both investing and accounting preferred.
  • Experience working with databases and large datasets highly preferred.
  • Prior programming experience, especially with R, Python, and/or Javascript, highly preferred.
