Job description

The HR Manager supporting International functions will play a key role in supporting the HR needs of the Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and Operations Directors (ODs) across four key regions: APMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa), UK/Europe, Canada, and LAC (Latin America & Caribbean). This role involves providing strategic and tactical HR support that aligns with the business objectives of each region. The HR Manager will partner with senior leaders to drive people strategies, enhance organizational effectiveness, and deliver HR services that drive talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and leadership development.


Business Partner-

Act as a trusted advisor to RVPs and ODs, providing guidance on people matters, including workforce planning, talent management, organizational design, and change management.

Work with regional leadership teams to understand business goals and ensure HR strategies are aligned with regional objectives. Identify and address HR challenges and opportunities across regions, offering tailored solutions to meet specific regional needs while also driving collaboration across the four regions to ensure HR best practices are shared and implemented consistently


Staffing/Engagement/Retention: Partners with Operations team on the design and development of company restaurant staffing strategies that ensure the attraction and selection of high potential talent to achieve appropriate staffing levels and make every restaurant the star. This includes ownership of, vendor/agency partnerships and contracts, and special programs & discovery projects to ensure we are maintaining a pipeline of talent for restaurant roles. Monitors employee engagement across regions, analyze annual engagement survey results and partners with leadership to develop strategies to improve overall engagement, satisfaction and retention. Foster a culture of inclusion and belonging, supporting initiatives that build a positive workplace environment.

Leadership Development and Workforce Planning- Supports region leadership teams in identifying and optimizing employee potential, utilizing key HR foundational programs: Leadership Success Factors, performance plans and individual development planning. Facilitates formal and informal training to educate, influence and coach leaders. Leads the full talent planning process for International in coordination with the Sr. HRBP for business partners including the facilitation of succession/bench planning sessions to identify future bench, gaps in talent base, leadership potential and at-risk performers. Collaborates with RVPs and Ops Directors on employee development needs and bench planning decisions and is responsible for any follow-up actions needed. Coach leaders on development plans for key talent to improve readiness levels and further career progression.

H.R. Operations, Employee Relations, and Compliance– Accountable for HR compliance in assigned regions. Supports HR subject matter experts in the implementation and execution of compensation and benefits programs, employee engagement surveys, leadership potential assessments, people leader training, etc. Manages and facilitates employee orientation in APMEA region. Ensures compliance with regional labour laws, HR Regulations, and company policies. Monitor and report on key HR metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve the employee experience. Supports business leaders and HRBPs in resolving employee relations issues, and managing disciplinary, grievance, and capability procedures for assigned regions to ensure compliance with local laws. This includes partnering directly with external counsel in assigned regions on employee relations issues. Approves recommendations of any resulting employment actions as appropriate. .

Projects: Strategically manages the movement of talent across regions by collaborating with various departments to ensure efficient relocation, integration, and development. This includes creating and executing a global talent strategy aligned with organizational goals, ensuring talent is deployed where needed to support growth and leadership development. The role also supports employee assignments, relocations, and transfers, while coordinating with HR, legal, and immigration teams to ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and visa requirements

Makes recommendations relative to adjustments in strategy in support of business objectives for assigned client groups.

Manages full investigation process for employee relations below Director level, including final correction action, if needed.

Various HR policies and procedures requiring HR authorizations, eg., disciplinary action, grievance procedure, compensation actions, etc.


Degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or related field and 5+ years of Human Resources experience.

In-depth knowledge of and experience with Human Resources principles and practices including recruiting/sourcing, succession planning, employee development, employee relations, EEO administration.


Experience working within a global organization, with an understanding of regional HR practices, cultural nuances and labor laws (APMEA, UK/Europe, Canada, LAC preferred)

Strong communication, organizational, planning, and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to influence business partners. Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to handle confidential information, conflict resolution, and employee related investigations.


High degree of independence in completing work and making decisions concerning various human resource activities. Ability to manage various activities from remote locations using hardware and software programs applicable to the functions of the position.


This position will be located in Central London UK.


This position will be on-site 3 days a week, and 2 days remote starting in 2026.
