Day To Day

Become a member of the Global CCO Enterprise Architecture team to inspire, motivate and facilitate a solution architecture community within the commercial domain. The Busines Architect CCO will be focused on the Asset Management and Pay-per-use (PPU) area. These teams are responsible for IT operations and support business change in an Agile way. Your role is to guide and coach these teams pro-actively. You can also expect to work with ambitious business management that always is looking for new opportunities. In this role you are the orchestrator of change.

You can

  • Participate in the creation and execution of long-term strategic and operating planning of commercial teams to ensure that the Enterprise Architecture objectives are supportive of the enterprise’s long-term business objectives.
  • Support the development of the Enterprise Target Architecture for the Asset Management and PPU domains.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement the Target State Architecture for CCO-teams and specifically for the asset management and PPU area.
  • Develop and maintain the Portfolio Roadmap including transition state architecture.
  • Chair the architecture sync meetings, like a solution-design-authority (SDA).
  • Oversees the architecture work in your domain, divides the work together with the team and manages expectations with business stakeholders.
  • Plan and support the creation of Solution Architecture for new and adjusted solutions that will enter the commercial IT landscape.
  • Motivate, inspire and facilitate a functional team of Solution Architects securing architecture alignment in solution development.
  • Execute architecture governance by enforcing the architecture process in the organization to make and capture decisions made regarding architecture.
  • Keep the baseline architecture in the architecture repository up-to-date to following the DLL ArchiMate Standards and actively coach Solution Architects on the use of ArchiMate.
  • Ensure that the respective business, application, information and technology perspectives are in line with the organization’s technology and governance strategies, policies and standards.
  • Support the creation and implementation of Enterprise Reference Architectures that contain Technology Standards. Actively communicate these standards and continuously improve them to meet market best practice and customer needs.

Essentials

  • Ten years experience in Enterprise Architecture covering mainly business, but also application and technology architecture.
  • University level Education (MSc).
  • Excellent communication in speech and writing in English.
  • Certified for TOGAF © and ArchiMate ©.
  • Proven experience in applying architecture modelling standards.
  • Thorough understanding of financial industry in general.
  • Experience in business and IT strategy development.

  • Open to learn, always having an outside-in view focused on the customer.
  • A networker, sensitive to the business domain and able to influence a divers stakeholder community. You are the one who can help your stakeholders to prioritize the demand for change.
  • A coach for your peers in architecture and a mediator for stakeholders with different interests in terms of investment priorities.
