You Are
We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced techno-functional expert in the Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, and associated Fintech sectors. He/She will work with the Customer point of contacts, Senior Client Engagement Managers, India based product development team and also the FinTEch partners at various stages in the engagement.
The Opportunity
- Engage with clients at various stages of engagement including pre-sales stage to provide functional expertise w.r.t. banking technology transformation, functional requirements and functional component selection and implementation.
- Drive Implementation engagements as techno-functional expert by providing key inputs to the Project team and Client w.r.t to functionality, technology and implementation strategy.
- Engage with industry partners to complement and complete UST FinX offerings in US Market. Work with the selected partners to offer integrated joint solutions to the market.
- Work with the FinX Product Managers and business partners in defining the product requirements using frameworks like Jobs to be Done and User Journey Mapping
- Define and document functional, non-functional, user experience requirements, process flows, use case scenarios, user stories, models, and conceptual design diagrams to support iterative development.
- Lead cross functional department meetings to define and obtain a sign off on the product requirements.
- Manage a wide range of internal stakeholders from multiple domains with varying levels of influence.
- Provide constant vision and "voice of the customer" to the development team during the product development and testing process.
- Define epics and granular user stories, as applicable, based on the product requirements.
- Collaborate with QA teams in reviewing test plans for applicability and test coverage.
- Actively participate in scrum ceremonies as the product owner and assist in sprint planning, estimation, requirement analysis and review, taking a call on trade-offs and conflict resolution
- Prioritize requirements for the sprint and the release collaborating with the offering manager.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Architecture, Legal and the PMO teams to deliver technology to comply with regulations like GDPR, etc.

What You Need
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in developing and implementing software products for Retail banking, Corporate Banking and fintech sectors.
- Strong exposure to core banking technology platforms, digital banking platforms, payment systems and regulatory reporting
- Proven track record of working in a similar role.
- Knowledge of banking regulations, fintech innovations, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional remote teams in different time zone
- Proficiency in any one of the leading core banking platforms commonly implemented in USA
- Good understanding of
- Architectural frameworks like microservices, cloud infrastructure and multi-tenancy
- Deployment frameworks like CI/CD pipelines
- Agile software development methodology. Knowledge of tools like Jira, Aha, etc.
Certifications

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree, preferably in MBA in Finance and Banking

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $107,000-$161,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
