Microsoft Security Consultant


Job Summary


Join our dynamic team as a skilled Microsoft Security Consultant and play a critical role in safeguarding our clients' digital assets. In this client-facing position, you will leverage your deep expertise in Microsoft security technologies to understand their unique security needs and deliver tailored solutions that ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and compliance of their systems and data. You will be at the forefront of the latest security trends, working with cutting-edge tools and services such as Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Azure security, Microsoft Sentinel, and Defender for Cloud, to develop innovative solutions for complex security challenges.


What you’ll be doing:


  • Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and recommend solutions that leverage Microsoft security technologies and services.
  • Implement end-to-end security solutions that protect client systems and data from cyber threats.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients on Microsoft security products and services.
  • Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Stay updated with the latest Microsoft security technologies and industry trends to protect clients against the latest threats.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the consultation process.
  • Create project documentation, including solution designs and configuration "as-built" documents.


Here's what we're looking for:


  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft security and compliance solutions.
  • 2+ years of experience working as a consultant or in a role involving implementing and troubleshooting IT solutions.
  • Experience in implementing end-to-end security solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft cloud platform, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel, and other Microsoft security technologies.
  • Ability to produce adequate documentation, implementation plans, problem resolution, and incident workarounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Experience in delivering multiple projects and client engagements, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Active certification in Microsoft security and compliance solutions, such as AZ-500, MS-500, SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, and others, is preferred.
