Job description

Description

This position is ideal for a mid to senior-level clinical professionals to join the iTero Clinical training team and a certified iTero Clinical Trainer. You'll provide instructor-led training, in both virtual and face-to-face settings, the iTero Clinical Trainer will educate dentists and their teams on advanced dental treatments and comprehensive clinical solutions. Additionally, Clinical Trainers will educate and personalize delivery of training to ensure offices are enabled to integrate the iTero scanner into the office workflow. Partnering with multiple cross functional teams, clinical trainers may participate in a wide variety of customer training initiatives. This includes delivery of live, one to many, online group training sessions; a variety of live training events conducted in the Raleigh Experience Center; or training events conducted at trade shows or for specific DSO customers. This role is vital in delivering a great customer experience to effectively educate dental professionals and their patients on the benefits of digital dentistry.

Role expectations

  • Support the iTero Clinical training manager in teaching dental professionals how to effectively learn and operate a complex and highly sensitive digital impression scanner.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing training to new and existing iTero customers.
  • Prepare and present the needs of customers, delivering appropriate training based on customer experience level and the purchased product and software configuration.
  • Follow up with customers to assess metrics, including scanner utilization and quality of scans, providing individualized training support, as needed, to address any identified issues.
  • Personalize delivery of training to ensure offices are enabled to integrate and adopt the iTero scanner into their specific office workflows.
  • Troubleshoot independently and with internal teams to address customer scanner issues.
  • Deliver customer training in a variety of settings, both virtual and in person, where needed.
  • Provide ongoing customer support to new and existing customers to foster positive long-term relationships.
  • Partner with Invisalign and iTero Territory Managers to understand any specific customer needs.
  • Work with managers and colleagues to identify needs and to develop new training assets and programs to meet the needs of our growing customer base and our growing portfolio of products.
  • Collaborate with managers and DSO leadership, help organize and deliver customized training to large DSO organizations, based on agreed upon training path.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of training by account.
  • Manage expense reporting and independently book travel efficiently and within company guidelines, as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all mandatory and assigned regulatory training and adhere to company policies.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 4 to 6 years of work experience and clinical degree and experience preferred.
  • Skills: Experience with virtual and web-based training software and Salesforce is a plus
  • Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong Excel skills, Computer and technology proficiency, with the ability to utilize technology including Windows OS, Microsoft Office, video conferencing and internet research ability
