Job description

Our client is seeking a results-driven Workforce Director to oversee and enhance the productivity and efficiency of their workforce in alignment with the strategic objectives of a leading organization. The Workforce Director will be responsible for developing and implementing workforce management strategies that optimize staffing sufficiency and performance, ensuring that the right talent is in the right place at the right time. You will work collaboratively with various departments to assess needs and create targeted workforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement workforce strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the workforce planning process, including forecasting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and control labor costs while maximizing employee productivity.
  • Analyze workforce data to provide insights and recommendations for organizational improvements.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall workforce satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor and report on workforce metrics and KPIs to guide decision-making at all levels.
  • Conduct talent assessments and succession planning to build a robust pipeline of future leaders.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance workforce skillsets and performance.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of employee compensation and benefits programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in workforce management or human resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical skills and capability to interpret workforce data.
  • Proficiency in HR software and workforce management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws and practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
