Job description

Spreetail propels brands to increase their ecommerce market share across the globe while improving their operational costs. Learn how we are building one of the fastest-growing ecommerce companies in history: www.spreetail.com.

Spreetail is looking for a strategic and innovative leader to join our Pricing Analytics team. If you're passionate about driving insights through data and building tools that make a real impact, this is your opportunity to shine.

How you will achieve success:
  • Lead Analytics & Tooling Strategy: Design and evolve advanced analytics models and scalable tooling infrastructure to optimize pricing performance and support free cash flow decisions.
  • Drive Automation & Innovation: Identify automation opportunities in repeatable processes, ensuring tools are well-documented and supported through clear training and SOPs.
  • Monitor Pricing Health: Develop and maintain predictive analytics to track pricing health, performance to goal, and key financial drivers on a T6W basis.
  • Deliver Operational Excellence: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely insights, uphold data quality, and respond to analytics/tooling requests within 24 hours.
  • Support Strategic Decision-Making: Provide impactful, data-driven insights for ad hoc pricing needs, using strong framing skills to highlight dollar value and business implications.
  • Mentor & Grow Talent: Guide and develop junior analytics professionals, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and best-in-class analytics practice.

  • What experiences will help you in this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in business analytics; Including Excel, SQL, or DAX, as well as data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights in business terms (increased revenue, reduced costs, mitigated risk).
  • Strong numerical and analytical aptitude and high proficiency in creating and managing advanced models.
  • Comfort with ambiguity (operate in processes still being defined), and a practical, common-sense approach to getting things done.
  • In an effort to Make Spreetail Better, we hire people that are aligned with our values and are passionate about pursuing ecommerce excellence. We believe the right person can learn what is needed to succeed in their role, so we encourage job applicants to apply even if you don't meet all the qualifications listed. We are looking for diverse backgrounds and perspectives, so we don’t require college degrees and welcome non-linear career paths. If this role highlights your experience and gets you excited – please apply!
