Job description

This is a remote position.

Are you passionate about computer vision and synthetic data generation? We’re looking for a driven analyst to explore the cutting-edge of EO-to-IR video conversion and help develop a working proof of concept for automated dataset generation.
  • Assess the feasibility of EO-to-IR video conversion using existing computer vision models
  • Develop a Python-based prototype for generating synthetic IR videos from visible-spectrum data
  • Evaluate and document model performance based on qualitative and quantitative criteria

Details:
  • Start: mid April 2025
  • Duration: 3-5 months
  • Workload: 40–60%
  • Location: Remote or Zurich area
  • Salary: 40 CHF/h


Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Strong programming experience with Python and common ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Familiarity with computer vision, image/video processing, and neural network architectures (e.g., GANs)
  • Experience with Linux/macOS development environments and handling datasets of varying formats
  • Proficient in English (working language); German is a plus
  • Independent, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
