Due to our rapid growth in Asia, we are looking for an Education Sales Consultant to help us expand our impact to more students.
The ideal candidate will be able to build rapport easily, be customer-obsessed, and have a growth mindset.
This is a full-time remote position, based in Shanghai.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting consultations for prospective Mandarin-speaking families within and outside of Mainland China
Responding to inbound enquiries in a timely manner to nurture leads and schedule consultations
Achieving monthly sales targets for new and returning families
Continuously improving sales techniques and industry knowledge
Forging partnerships with associated businesses, non-profits, organizations, and more
Working with the Local Area and Digital Marketing Teams to develop/enhance lead generation methods by identifying opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in leads and sales
Engaging in business development activities such as identifying and converting new partners into referrers
What skills and experience are required?
Fluency in English and Mandarin (verbal and written)
3+ years of experience in sales
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Experience in the education sector — for example, the high school or higher education space(s) (preferred but not mandatory)
Background in college consulting or similarly parent focused roles (preferred but not mandatory)
Must have university degree (preferably from a US/UK university)
Experience using a CRM (e.g. Salesforce) and multiple systems and platforms
