Job description

At RecLatam, we are a dedicated legal staffing company working with law firms across the U.S. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Docketing and Scheduling Clerk to support one of our clients with managing and organizing case-related deadlines and appointments.

Position Overview:
The Docketing and Scheduling Clerk will play a critical role in the daily operations of the firm by maintaining accurate records of legal deadlines and assisting in the coordination of important legal proceedings. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and able to manage time-sensitive tasks with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Docket and maintain all deadlines and key dates for the firms active matters

  • Calendar hearings, depositions, and court-related deadlines using the firms calendaring system

  • Save all relevant documents to the firms document management system with correct labeling and organization

  • Work closely with attorneys and legal staff to confirm deadlines and assist in managing their schedules

  • Monitor and update the docket regularly to ensure all events are properly tracked

  • Assist in scheduling court appearances, depositions, and other legal proceedings

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in legal docketing and/or scheduling preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

  • Experience with calendar management tools is a must

  • Familiarity with legal terminology and court procedures

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretio
