The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills to support mission-critical applications and services. Our client has customers across the globe, and they provide B2B solutions for large events, in particular, sporting events. We can't name their customers but we bet you've heard of them.

Here's what your responsibilities will be:

Oversee and maintain a multi-region cloud environment, focusing on:
- Backup and recovery procedures
- Performance optimization
- Server patching and updates
- Security issue resolution
Ensure system performance and availability meet established SLAs
Employ Infrastructure as Code tools for streamlined infrastructure management
Address and resolve complex AWS and migration challenges
Manage RDS instances, including optimization and monitoring
Assist development teams with performance-related concerns
Establish and maintain CloudWatch alerts
Provide swift incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventative solutions
Foster collaboration between development and operations teams

Minimum 5 years hands-on AWS experience
Proficiency with SQL Server and PostgreSQL

- RDS and EC2 Management Consoles

Open to providing team mentorship
