This position will report directly to the Director of Funding and Titles, and will work cross-functionally with the funding, sales, legal and operations teams.  This job will involve modifying and creating a smooth onboarding experience for our dealer partners.  Success in this role is measured by the accuracy and process building of the dealership onboarding experience.   

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Lendbuzz’s due diligence standards for onboarding new dealer partners.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert by reviewing and providing feedback on the appropriate documentation needed for dealer onboarding, both internally and externally (with dealers). 
  • When required per company guidelines, pull and file external due diligence checks and escalate any findings. 
  • Act as the project manager for all dealerships currently in the process of onboarding as Lendbuzz clients. Track open items, deadlines, and tasks from start to finish.
  • Create reports to monitor and present progress on outstanding onboarding successes and issues in the pipeline compared to those that have been resolved. 
  • Collaborate with department leadership to establish process flows, improvements, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain a fundamental understanding of key policies and procedures, as well as the legal implications and relationship-building aspects of your role.
  • Coordinate and act as a liaison between dealerships and sales agents as needed to resolve outstanding tasks.
  • Make outbound calls to dealers as required.
  • Provide clear and professional communication with employees at all levels of management, including handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Develop new programs for changes in the onboarding process that affect business operations.
  • Perform routine audits/reviews on dealer records in company systems to ensure compliance completeness.
  • Define and track metrics for dealership onboarding compliance.

  • Key Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in customer onboarding, success, or account management 
  • Not afraid to take a proactive role in deep-diving into process opportunities
  • Ability to research and interpret basic policies and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to meet deadlines with sufficient planning and minimal supervision
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to resolve issues
  • Good decision-making capabilities
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs. 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • 2+ years experience with Excel and data analysis/reporting 
  • Experience working in the Auto Finance or dealership industry is a plus.  
  • Experience with RouteOne/Dealertrack a plus
