Role Overview:
The Solution Consultant / Sales Engineer will work closely with the Sales, Product, and Client Engagement teams to drive business growth by delivering tailored product demonstrations and technical solutions to potential clients. You will bridge the gap between our advanced Strategic Workforce Planning offerings and client requirements, ensuring prospects understand how our solutions meet their specific needs.
Technical Expertise & Product Demos Assist in preparing and delivering basic product demonstrations, focusing on key features that address common client challenges in Strategic Workforce Planning. Learn to explain how the product connects finance, planning, and talent management in simple terms, with guidance from senior team members. Help customize demo materials by researching industry-specific pain points under supervision. Support the sales team by providing foundational knowledge on system features and basic integrations. Solution Design & Scoping Work alongside sales executives and senior consultants to gather client requirements and assist in documenting them. Contribute to solution frameworks by researching client workflows and suggesting standard best practices with oversight. Assist in the RFP/RFI process by drafting responses to straightforward technical questions and preparing simple use cases, with review from senior staff. Implementation and Onboarding Support the handoff of new clients from sales to implementation by organizing documentation and attending transition meetings. Participate in client workshops and configuration sessions, configuring solutions and assisting with basic setup tasks as directed. Provide technical assistance during implementation projects, focusing on predefined tasks to help deliver the proposed solution. Client Relationship Management Act as a supporting point of contact for clients, offering basic guidance on product usage and escalating complex issues to senior team members. Help maintain client relationships by ensuring clear communication during the handoff to the post-sales Client Engagement team. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support Relay basic client feedback to product managers and engineering teams, as observed during client interactions. Assist marketing and sales teams by gathering data for technical sales materials or competitive analysis, under direction. Training & Enablement Participate in training sessions for internal sales teams and clients, helping demonstrate basic product functionalities and standard practices. Assist in updating training content within the Learning Management System (LMS) by organizing materials or adding simple notes, with guidance. Experience Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Human Resources, Business, or a related field 2+ years work experience in consulting, (HR) tech or a related field Exposure to working with teams or clients, ideally in an HR or business support context Basic understanding of people analytics, workforce planning, or HR management concepts from coursework or early experience. Familiarity with SaaS tools or business processes through academic projects or student roles. Skills & CompetenciesFluent in German isa must Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, developed through presentations or teamwork. Willingness to learn about global enterprise clients and their industries, with initial exposure to diverse regions a plus. Advanced experience working with tools like Excel or PowerPoint; interest in APIs, SaaS integrations, or cloud platforms is a bonus. Ability to assist with straightforward documentation or research tasks, such as preparing for RFPs/RFIs, with training provided.
