Job Summary:

We're seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our greenfield project as a key team member. You'll work directly with our Technical Lead to build something from the ground up, contributing to architectural decisions that will shape the future of our product.

You'll be working on developing a brand-new application with a strong focus on backend architecture. This includes building serverless AWS Lambda functions, managing DevOps processes, and optimizing PostgreSQL database performance while also contributing to the Quasar-based front end. This parallel development will eventually become our primary platform, allowing you to make a lasting impact on our technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Technical Lead to implement scalable cloud architecture using AWS services
Develop and optimize serverless backend services with Node.js and AWS Lambda
Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries
Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments
Build frontend components using Vue.js and the Quasar framework
Work alongside product and design teams to refine features

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of software development experience
Strong proficiency with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, etc.)
Experience with Node.js backend development
Expertise in PostgreSQL database design and optimization
Experience building and deploying serverless applications
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation
Familiarity with JavaScript frontend frameworks (Vue.js preferred, but React experience is acceptable)
Understanding of authentication and security best practices

Ideal Candidate Additional Skills

Experience with Quasar framework for cross-platform development
Knowledge of the financial/stock market domain
Previous work on greenfield projects
Experience with GraphQL
