Job description

For our client, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer (ABAP, ABAP OO, S/4, WebUI)

Time Frame: 14/04/2025 – 31/03/2026 (Extension very likely)
Hours Estimated: Full-time
Location: Mostly remote
Project Language: German (customer-facing), English (internal with project team)

Software – Architecture, Design, and Development

Main Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize SAP ABAP solutions in the S/4HANA environment.
Create and modify SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications using WebUI (CRM-Case-Management; CRM 7.0 and CRM on S/4).
Implement processes within Investigative Case Management in SAP CRM.
Collaborate with project teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
Design system architecture and ensure high-quality ABAP and ABAP OO code.
Troubleshoot and fix issues in existing SAP applications.
Support the integration of SAP with external systems using SAP Process Orchestration (PO) and other integration tools.
Maintain processes for logging, audits, and identity management in SAP systems.
Work on the development and implementation of solutions in private cloud environments, such as SAP Edge Integration Cell.
Monitor and optimize the performance of applications and systems in the private cloud.
Contribute to the development and implementation of SAP Cloud Process Integration (CPI) solutions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and report progress on tasks.
Adhere to best programming practices and coding standards in the project.

Technical Requirements

Must have skills:

Experience in software design and development in CAE projects is an advantage. Alternatively, experience in product development in a private cloud environment is also highly valued.

SAP Customer Relationship Management with WebUI (CRM-Case-Management; CRM 7.0 and CRM on S/4) and Investigative Case Management
Strong English communication skills (both spoken and written)
