Temporary Compliance Auditor Manager

Position Overview:

We seek a highly skilled Temporary Manager to join our team as an individual contributor. This role primarily oversees compliance and internal audit processes, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and aligned with company standards. The position requires a strong understanding of compliance and audit procedures, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day compliance and internal audit tasks, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Coordinate and prioritize audit tasks to ensure all deadlines are met, maintaining high standards of accuracy.
  • Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed audit reports, identifying compliance risks and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to address audit findings and support compliance initiatives.
  • Handle any issues or concerns related to compliance or audit processes, implementing effective solutions.
  • Stay informed about changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in compliance auditing or internal audit roles, preferably in large organizations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare detailed audit reports.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining compliance standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent tools, with experience using audit software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, particularly in identifying compliance gaps.
  • CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) or similar certifications.

Familiarity with project management tools and the ability to work autonomously on audit tasks.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $60 - $90 per hour
