Job description

Who are we?
UpGuard’s mission is to protect the world’s data. We obsessively seek out elegant, robust ways to enable our customers to find, acknowledge, and remediate cyber risk. With UpGuard, organizations leverage our security expertise and software to automate what was once laborious, spreadsheet-driven processes–whether it's monitoring the attack surface of hundreds of vendors or assessing the security of their own infrastructure. UpGuard is used by some of the world’s largest, fastest-growing, and most innovative companies.

At UpGuard, our Sales team has not only been pivotal in growing our business but, more importantly, showing the value of our product daily. We have a highly collaborative sales culture and take on a consultative approach, focusing solely on what’s best for the customer. In 2024, our Sales team exceeded revenue targets, and we’re only just getting started! We’re on the lookout for high-energy individuals who are hungry to get better every day, have a desire to win, and are seeking to sell a product that is helping solve a massive problem for businesses across the globe.

Where does this role fit in?
We are looking for a technical, hands-on problem solver who will supercharge our revenue team by optimizing our GTM systems, automating workflows, and leveraging AI-driven solutions. This role is critical to ensuring that our revenue teams can focus on selling, retaining, and growing customers without being slowed down by inefficiencies.

You’ll be responsible for managing and enhancing our revenue tech stack, building integrations, and driving automation to unlock new levels of productivity.

What will you do?
  • Eliminate bottlenecks in sales and customer success processes through smart automation and workflow enhancements.
  • Leverage AI-powered solutions to improve productivity, reduce manual tasks, and enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Marketing,  Sales and CS, ensuring they have the tools, insights, and automation needed to maximize revenue growth.
  • Configure, optimize and manage tools like HubSpot, Outreach, Gong, Clay,  n8n, Nooks and various other revenue tools.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, AI integration, and process optimization to drive efficiency.
  • Architect our tech stack as a competitive advantage, not a bottleneck, by continuously identifying new technologies to experiment with whilst managing any emerging duplication or inefficiencies.
  • Design, build, and maintain integrations between revenue systems natively, via workflow automation (n8n), reverse-ETL and via custom APIs.
  • Establish well-architected design patterns that maintain data integrity, governance, and hygiene across platforms.
  • Establish monitoring that proactively identifies issues early and stops or minimises them before they impact downstream teams.
  • Use AI tools to greatly improve the impact data (structured and unstructured) has on our teams, systems and processes.
  • Work with stakeholders in understanding their challenges and designing technical solutions that address pain points.
  • Identify opportunities on your own that can improve team efficiency and gain stakeholder advocacy for their potential impact and implementation
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and bring new technologies and strategies that can accelerate revenue growth.
  • Act as the go-to technical expert for troubleshooting any escalated revenue system issues.
  • Partner with Sales, CS, Marketing, and Finance to ensure systems, workflows, and data flows are fully optimized.
  • Support revenue growth initiatives through data-driven insights and automation.

  • What will you bring?
  • 5+ years of experience in GTM Systems, Rev Ops, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot, Outreach, Gong, n8n and/or similar tools.
  • Strong technical skills, including the use of workflow automation tools (n8n, Workato, Zapier) and exposure to  API integrations built via code (Python, JavaScript, or similar is a plus).
  • Experience working with AI within automation and analytics tools. As well as a proven ability to create prompts that transform data into actionable insights for teams or tools to utilize.
  • A proactive mindset—you don’t just fix issues, you prevent them before they happen.
  • Deep understanding of sales and customer success workflows and how technology can optimize them.

  • What would give you an edge?
  • Experience working in a high-growth SaaS organization.
  • Knowledge of revenue forecasting models and customer lifecycle metrics.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) or scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
