Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Quality digital systems and data solutions manager to serve as the primary technical lead for the development and implementation of MRB digital optimization and quality AI initiatives. This is a highly visible and excellent career opportunity that will provide exposure across quality, engineering, DT and operations organizations. This position requires unquestionable ethical dedication for safety and quality.

Successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development, testing and deployment of digital transformation tools and training of quality personnel in the use of these tools. This position draws on working knowledge of digital quality systems, cloud-based digital technology and business requirement. Preferred candidate should also be proficient in data analytics and will assist in the digitalization of the MRB process.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop a clear under‐standing of digital technology process and procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Lead the development of a strategic digital roadmap, leveraging advanced technologies to establish unified quality system data architecture.
  • Lead the development and deployment MRB digital process optimization and quality AI systems and applications.
  • Provide training and support to the deployment of new digital tools across quality
  • Be the liaison between DT and quality teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications
  • Project lead for quality digital technology and AI initiatives, ensuring project is implemented on time, to requirement and within budget by using CORE principles.
  • Lead user testing and validation of new digital quality tools and software applications
  • Proactively identify potential risks and implement mitigation actions.
  • Develop and deploy data analytics tools to maximize the use digital systems.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Quality or Engineering field and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Expert level knowledge of digital technology software applications.
  • Experience in MRB system, SAP, Solumina\MES, Artificial Intelligence, data science.
  • Working experience with programming platforms such as, Python, Relational Databases, Fiori, Visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik.
  • Ability to lead and influence technical teams and decisions outside of direct chain of authority.
  • Strong understanding of engine component manufacturing, quality and ability to make appropriate risk-based decisions.
  • Project management experience and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Proficient using standard software tools to drive continuous improvement and improve MRB processing.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
