Job description

Job Summary:

The Manager of Marketing Engagement and Automation plays a pivotal role in driving effective marketing strategies that enhance member and provider engagement across CareSource's diverse portfolio. By leveraging technology, data analysis, and strategic planning, this position contributes significantly to achieving organizational goals and delivering exceptional results.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain a broad understanding of CareSource’s capabilities and technology focusing on the foundational capabilities in multi-channel campaign execution such as preference management and campaign integration
  • Support and execute the roadmap for engagement center tools and processes, including Email and text channel delivery
  • Executes campaigns, directly or with the operational support of agencies in support of business strategy, utilizing best practices for member outreach
  • Partner with marketing services and key vendors to ensure alignment with and meeting of the objectives of CareSource’s campaign programs, establishing effective metrics, testing, tracking, and measuring success
  • Manage applicable vendor relationships to optimize performance and support campaign initiatives
  • Understand business requirements, emerging industry/technology trends and competitive landscape to inform and enhance campaign strategies
  • Understand and remain in full compliance with industry regulations while tracking and reporting on such requirements
  • Serve as owner and acts as in-house subject matter expert (SME) for campaign automation, including governance/compliance, preference management, and integration points with additional departments
  • Develop and manage templates and playbooks, while building toward the future to design best practices (including device considerations, calls to action, communication frequency, and cadence) for in-house, external campaigns and training materials as needed
  • Use analytical tools related to user experience research and design to derive actionable insight to constantly test and optimize campaign activities
  • Gain a deep understanding of existing customer segments, behaviors, values, and incentive triggers to develop enhanced strategies and improve message automation and personalization to reach targeted customers while mitigating short-term risk
  • Plan and promote the establishment of a data-driven marketing culture
  • Track and report on effectiveness of programs and campaign metrics, to maximize ROI of each program, content, and channel
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or IT, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA), Health Administration (MHA), or related graduate degree is preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of strategic marketing leadership experience is required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing fulfillment or agency relationships and marketing automation is required
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is highly preferred

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with expert Excel knowledge (e.g., complex calculations, pivot tables)
  • Dynamics 365 experience highly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, accountability, and deadlines, with excellent organizational, time-management, multi-tasking and project management capabilities
  • Skilled ability to understand and analyze marketing data to develop campaign recommendations and optimizations from these insights
  • Strong knowledge in marketing automation and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (e.g., mPulse, Adobe, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.)
  • Ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problems
  • Critical thinking and listening skills
  • Oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and foster cooperative team relationships

  • None

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • May require occasional travel

Compensation Range:

$81,400.00 - $130,200.00

CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
