This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

Join our team

At GoDaddy, we are seeking an exceptional Senior Manager, SOX Compliance & Risk Management, to join our Finance team! This role reports to the Director of Risk Management and plays a critical leadership role in driving the global execution and maturity of our SOX Compliance program. You’ll work cross-functionally with business and IT stakeholders, lead the coordination of key compliance activities, and help drive continuous improvement across our internal control environment.

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and can bring structure, rigor, and clarity to a fast-paced and evolving compliance landscape.

What you'll get to do...

  • Drive leadership across the SOX program by coordinating management's annual SOX cycle while ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and industry standard processes.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders and external auditors to facilitate the annual SOX cycle, ensuring exceptional communication and efficient resolution of audit findings.
  • Maintain visibility across program milestones, timelines, and communications.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements, control optimization, and stakeholder training.
  • Support reporting, issue tracking, and risk assessment efforts.
  • Partner with teams across the business to build and maintain a strong controls culture.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, encouraging a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and process improvement.

Your experience should include...

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
  • CPA, CIA, or other relevant certifications.
  • Public accounting background from a Big 4 Firm.
  • 8+ years of experience in SOX compliance, with 3+ years in a manager or leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., COSO, SOX, SEC, and PCAOB).
  • Experience managing multiple projects, adapting to changing priorities, making decisions efficiently, and driving solutions independently while keeping leadership informed.

We've got your back...  We offer a range of total rewards that may include paid time off, retirement savings (e.g., 401k, pension schemes), bonus/incentive eligibility, equity grants, participation in our employee stock purchase plan, competitive health benefits, and other family-friendly benefits including parental leave.
