Job description

Our client is a collection of luxurious waterfront villas in Fiji with premium amenities and personalized services for an exclusive island escape.

They are seeking a highly experienced and organized Reservation Manager to oversee and manage all booking channels, optimize occupancy and revenue, and deliver outstanding guest communication and support. This role operates remotely during the afternoon shift in Fijian time.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in reservations department from a luxury or boutique hospitality setting.
  • Reservation System: Proficiency in SiteMinder and RMS.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English; other language skills are a plus.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, especially with dates, rates, and guest requests.
  • Customer-Centric: Passion for hospitality, problem-solving, and creating a positive guest journey.
  • Remote Work Discipline: Able to work independently with minimal supervision and strong time management.
  • AvailabilityFlexibility to work across time zones or weekends if needed.
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership skills to manage reservation team members who are based in Fiji.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage All Reservation Channels: Oversee daily reservations from various platforms (website, OTAs, email, phone, agents).
  • Coordinate with Front Office & Operations Team: Ensure accurate guest details and special requests are communicated to the on-site team.
  • Revenue Optimization: Monitor occupancy levels, adjust rates in coordination with management, and suggest pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Maintain Reservation Systems: Manage and update PMS/booking engines and OTA extranets to reflect accurate availability, rates, and restrictions.
  • Guest Communication & Service: Respond promptly to inquiries, confirm bookings, upsell services, and ensure a smooth pre-arrival experience.
  • Reporting: Generate daily/weekly reservation reports and booking pace trends for management review.
  • Handle Cancellations & No-shows: Ensure clear documentation, follow property policies, and update availability accordingly.
  • Liaise with Travel Agents & Partners: Manage B2B relationships, handle group bookings, and maintain allotments.
  • Stay Updated on Market Trends: Keep an eye on competitor pricing, market demand, and industry tools.
  • Support Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate with marketing for packages, promos, and campaign rollouts across booking channels.
