Description

Position Overview      

The Industry Consultant will be responsible for guiding upmarket STACK customers through the process of implementing the STACK Takeoff & Estimating solution. They will work with STACK customers, as well as leverage his or her own knowledge of construction, to ensure the STACK preconstruction platform meets their company’s needs. The Industry Consultant will review customer’s existing takeoff and estimating processes, advise on potential changes to these processes to leverage the solution with a lens for greater efficiency and accuracy. 

This remote position is available to residents of Canada.

Qualifications

Performance Responsibilities and Expectations 

  • Work closely with team assigned to support upmarket customers to review existing workflows, processes and procedures used prior to adopting STACK, providing guidance to customers on the best methods and determining the most efficient path forward. 
  • Review STACK customer’s organizational structure and make recommendations on how to best leverage the STACK groups (“offices”) structure and applicable workflows that best match their business. 
  • Configure and build items/assemblies and workflows and provide documentation each as defined in the implementation plan 
  • Participate, and lead if necessary, in customer training sessions to train the key content required for to meet the implementation plan objective. 

 

Required Experience, Knowledge, and Characteristic Attributes  

Must have demonstrated experience, knowledge, and characteristic attributes in the following:  

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience  
  • 3+ years of commercial construction estimating experience 
  • Prior training experience would be a plus. 
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills  
  • Experience in a client facing role 
  • Experience with construction takeoff and estimating software  
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and other office software  
  • Excellent communication ability (spoken and written) 
  • Strong analytical ability with a focus on results
