Join Everbridge as our next Clinical Governance Manager (Fully Remote, UK-Based)
 
Are you passionate about raising the standard of global medical care and driving clinical excellence? Everbridge is excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a skilled and motivated Clinical Governance Manager to join our dynamic medical team.
 
This is a fully remote, home-based position open to candidates located anywhere in the UK, operating at mid-Band 7 level.

As a key member of our International Assistance Centre, you’ll be part of a multi-professional clinical team providing 24/7 global medical support to corporate clients and individuals. From pre-deployment preparation to post-travel care, your clinical expertise will be critical in ensuring safe, high-quality, and compliant medical outcomes.
 
This role places a strong focus on clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement, while giving you the opportunity to shape and uphold best practices across our global healthcare operations.
 

What you'll do:
  • Provide first-line medical assessment, triage, and telemedicine support across diverse clinical scenarios.
  • Conduct pre-deployment screenings, travel health assessments, and repatriation planning.
  • Review medical documentation to ensure appropriate, high-quality care delivery.
  • Manage complex medical cases, including emergency coordination and medical evacuations.
  • Collaborate with global healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant clinical records in the Case Management System.
  • Mentor junior clinicians and support team members in delivering best-in-class care.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including insurance companies, healthcare providers, and corporate clients to coordinate interventions.
  • Drive clinical governance activities, audits, and quality assurance initiatives under the guidance of the Deputy Chief Medical Officer.
  • Ensure compliance with UK, European, and North American medical regulations, data protection standards, and internal SOPs.

  • What you'll bring:
  • A recognised clinical degree (nurse, paramedic, physician, or equivalent).
  • Professional registration with a relevant authority (GMC, NMC, HCPC, NAEMT/NREMT, etc.).
  • Experience in emergency medicine, occupational health, travel medicine, aerospace, or military medicine is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement frameworks.
  • Comfortable working in high-pressure environments and making confident, patient-focused decisions.
  • Proficient in telemedicine platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent English (additional languages a plus).
