Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Description

  1. Design and Development of Integrations:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain integrations between financial systems (e.g., Oracle Financials, SAP, NetSuite) and other internal or external systems.
    • Create data mapping and transformation logic to ensure seamless data flow between different platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, banking systems).
    • Design and build scalable, high-performance integrations that meet business and technical requirements.
    • Develop custom APIs, middleware solutions, or batch jobs to facilitate data exchange.
  2. System Integration Support:

    • Provide technical support for integration issues, troubleshooting, and resolving data discrepancies or integration failures.
    • Monitor integration performance and work proactively to address potential issues before they affect business operations.
    • Collaborate with other IT teams to implement system upgrades, patches, or new features related to integrations.
  3. Data Mapping and Transformation:

    • Design and implement data mapping and transformation strategies to ensure accurate and efficient data exchange.
    • Ensure data consistency and integrity by managing complex data transformations between source and target systems.
    • Work with finance and business teams to understand business requirements and translate them into integration specifications.
  4. Collaboration with Finance Teams:

    • Collaborate closely with finance teams to understand their needs and ensure that integration solutions align with financial processes (e.g., invoicing, payment processing, accounts receivable/payable).
    • Ensure integrations support accounting and financial reporting workflows and provide a clear audit trail of financial data exchanges.
  5. Process Automation and Optimization:

    • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive financial processes through integrations, thereby improving efficiency and reducing manual errors.
    • Optimize integration processes for improved performance, scalability, and maintainability.
    • Recommend improvements to the overall financial system landscape by identifying gaps or inefficiencies.
  6. Documentation and Compliance:

    • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration processes, including specifications, mapping, transformation rules, and troubleshooting guides.
    • Ensure all integrations comply with internal controls, regulatory standards, and financial reporting requirements.
    • Work with audit teams to provide the necessary documentation and evidence for compliance reviews.
  7. Testing and Quality Assurance:

    • Develop test plans and execute integration tests to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data flows.
    • Perform unit testing, system testing, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure integrations are functional and meet business needs.
    • Resolve any issues or bugs identified during testing phases.
  8. Continuous Improvement:

    • Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in finance technology and integration tools.
    • Regularly review and update integration strategies and solutions to align with evolving business needs and technological advancements.
    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing insights on how integration solutions can be enhanced.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. Additional certifications in finance or integration tools (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, SAP Integration, etc.) are a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in developing integrations within finance or accounting systems (ERP, CRM, or financial management systems).
    • Experience with financial systems integration (Oracle Financials, SAP, NetSuite, etc.) is highly desirable.
    • Experience with middleware platforms, integration technologies (e.g., ESB, REST APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON), and data transformation tools.
    • Familiarity with cloud-based integration tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, or similar platforms.
