THE ROLE: Sales and Partnerships - USA (Account Executive)

THE LOCATION: USA (Remote role)

In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue by acquiring new business and managing renewals within our existing client base. This role combines strategic prospecting with strong relationship-building and client success initiatives, ensuring both the growth of Showpass’ client portfolio and the retention of our valued clients. You will work closely with both internal teams and clients to tailor solutions that align with their needs, facilitating long-term partnerships.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

New Business Development:

  • Identify and research potential clients across various industries (live events, festivals, sports, etc.) who can benefit from Showpass’ ticketing solutions
  • Engage with potential customers through cold calls, emails, and social selling techniques to generate meetings and demonstrations of the Showpass platform
  • Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations to showcase how Showpass can solve the prospective client’s event ticketing needs
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms, converting prospects into long-term Showpass clients
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for new business acquisitions

Client Renewals & Account Management:

  • Proactively engage with existing customers to ensure continued satisfaction with Showpass services and maintain high levels of customer retention
  • Manage the end-to-end renewal process for clients with the Client Services Team, ensuring timely contract renewals and service continuity
  • Identify opportunities for additional services, features, or product upgrades to drive further value for clients and increase revenue
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders to foster trust and ensure client loyalty
  • Assist Client Services with client onboarding, helping them understand and maximize the benefits of Showpass solutions

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine sales strategies, identify market trends, and ensure a seamless experience for prospective and current clients
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales progress, and renewals within the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Offer valuable feedback to product and marketing teams based on client needs, preferences, and competitive insights

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post secondary education is an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS, event technology, or ticketing
  • Experience in both acquiring new business and managing client renewals 
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage pipeline and track client interactions
  • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate value propositions and build rapport with clients
  • Comfortable negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with clients
  • Ability to identify client pain points and tailor Showpass solutions to meet their specific needs
  • Comfortable learning and demonstrating a tech product and conveying its benefits
  • Self motivated and driven to achieve goals and sales targets
