The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

RTX has an opening for a highly motivated and experienced Safe Agile Product Owner to join the Engineering & Technology Application Services (ETAS) Agile Release Train (ART). As a Safe Agile Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our products and services, following the principles of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You will collaborate with cross-functional team, working with Product Management, Architecture, helpdesk, and other stakeholders to define, prioritize, and validate completion of the product vision.

What You Will Do:

• Product Ownership: Serve as the main contact for the product, managing the product backlog and defining priorities.

• Vision and Strategy: Develop and share a clear product vision and strategy, aligning it with business goals and customer needs.

• Prioritization and Requirements: Prioritize features based on value and feasibility, and document requirements to guide development teams.

• Stakeholder Engagement and Agile Framework: Collaborate with stakeholders and champion the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles.

• Roadmap, Release Planning, and Metrics: Create a product roadmap, participate in release planning, and track KPIs to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5 years of related work experience or equivalent work experience, with SAFe Product Owner certification being a strong plus.

• Agile and Engineering Tools: Experience with agile management tools (e.g., JIRA) and engineering tools (e.g., PDM, PLM, CADD) is beneficial.

• Professional Experience: Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an agile environment, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies and the SAFe framework.

• Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize and make data-driven decisions.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the engineering management system due to government data requirements.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
