Senior Salesforce Developer (with Accounting Seed experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer with extensive experience in Salesforce development and proven expertise in Accounting Seed, a native Salesforce accounting application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in APEX, Lightning, and system integrations, and will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable solutions that support financial operations and core business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom Salesforce applications using APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)

• Work with Aura components when required for legacy or hybrid implementations

• Customize standard Salesforce objects and create custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and process automations

• Lead the design and implementation of solutions using Accounting Seed, including modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, and Financial Reporting

• Build and maintain integrations using REST API and SOAP API, ensuring robust and secure data exchange with external systems

• Collaborate with product owners, consultants, and cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements and deliver efficient solutions

• Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to sprint planning, code reviews, and deployment activities

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and mentoring as needed

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience

• 1–2 years of experience with Accounting Seed (must-have)

• Deep expertise in:

  • APEX Development

  • Visualforce Development

  • Lightning Component Development

  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  • Aura Components

  • Integration Development (REST and SOAP API)

  • Customizing standard Salesforce objects and creating custom objects

  • Implementing workflows, validation rules, and process automations

• Experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) components such as Omniscripts, Integration Procedures, Dataraptors, and FlexCards is a plus

• Solid understanding of accounting and finance-related workflows

• Experience working in Agile teams with tools like Jira and Git

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, and OmniStudio Developer preferred.
