Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) - D2C, Performance-Based, Ecommerce Expert
Location: LATAM (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-time
Hourly Rate: $30-50/h (Open to go up to $55 for the right person)
We are seeking an experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with a strong background in scaling high-growth ecommerce Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brands. The ideal candidate must have recent, hands-on experience with 8-9 figure ecommerce businesses (i.e., $20+ million USD in annual revenue), preferably on the Shopify platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty.

  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, PPC, social media, influencer marketing, and email campaigns.

  • Lead cross-functional marketing teams and collaborate with product, logistics, and finance departments to align marketing goals with business objectives.

  • Optimize marketing channels and campaigns to achieve maximum ROI and scalability.

  • Leverage Shopify and ecommerce tools to enhance customer experience and conversion rates.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging marketing technologies.

  • Foster a data-driven marketing culture focused on analytics and performance tracking.



Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience running 8-figure ecommerce creative teams in the USA.

  • Proven experience managing a performance-based team.

  • Expertise in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) ecommerce brands, with experience generating $20+ million/year in revenue.

  • Strong experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads.

  • Experience launching new product lines.

Bonus Skills:

  • Some experience in email marketing.

  • Experience in international market expansion and localization strategies.
