Job Summary:

We are looking for a General Accountant to join our growing team. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional who can handle daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance in a fast-paced startup environment. You will work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure accurate financial records and support business growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and managing daily accounting transactions (AP, AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries).
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Ensuring accurate bookkeeping and maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Handling tax filings, VAT, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Supporting payroll processing and ensure timely payments.
  • Coordinating with auditors and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Implementing and improving financial controls and processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Assisting in financial analysis and providing insights to management for decision-making.


What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a startup or SME.
  • Saudi experience or familiarity with Saudi accounting standards, VAT, and compliance is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
