We seek a dynamic, analytical, and customer-focused Senior Value Engineer to join our Sales Organisation and help with winning new business to positively impact the region’s success. This role will engage with customers to capture and articulate the business value that our solutions will provide to their business. If you excel in dynamic settings, prioritise customer excellence, have a strong record of collaboration with Account teams and are ready to be part of a high-performing sales team dedicated to excellence, we’d love to meet you!

You will work across all industries within the EMEA Region. This role will be based in the UK. Travel around 20% required and varies throughout the year

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engagements with prospective and existing customers using a value selling approach to build a compelling business case aligned to their objectives, pain-points, and improvement opportunities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and collaborate closely with Senior Sales Leaders and Account teams to identify value driven strategies for accounts.
  • Use business, technical, and financial acumen to understand the baseline and future state capabilities of the customer.
  • Create and present boardroom-quality business case presentations showcasing the projected business impact the customer can achieve using Certinia solutions, typically to Senior stakeholders & a C-suite audience.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on our solutions, remaining informed about industry trends and advancements.
  • Influence and work with Certinia colleagues to scale value adoption and improve their understanding of business value & customer excellence.
  • Lead the development of collateral for internal and customer-facing use as & when needs of the function are identified. Develop industry-specific value propositions and use cases which can scale across other regions and influence Certinia’s marketing messaging.
  • Help build the future of the Value Engineering practice at Certinia: contribute to the development of best practices and tools for an enhanced value based selling adoption.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a Business Consulting, Technology Consulting or Business Value Consulting / Engineering role.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills with a natural skill for building credibility, trust, and influence with Senior Executives and business leaders within target accounts.
  • Demonstrated experience and sound judgement in building and presenting business cases to client audiences including Senior C-Suite Executives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including sound familiarity with PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Expertise in client discovery, identifying and prioritizing use cases, suggesting improvement measures and becoming a change agent for Certinia customers.
  • Demonstrated capacity for independent decision-making and decisive action in complex, ambiguous environments.
